Requests for Information

This RFI solicits views directly related to: developing a model to evaluate the economic and other benefits derived from New York’s investment in stem cell research; identifying an appropriate matrix to assess NYSTEM program goals and strategic planning; and considering state intellectual property and technology transfer policies that will ensure broad access to the results of state-funded research and apply the principles of distributive justice to the resulting clinical applications.

Empire State Stem Cell Scholars: Fellow-to-Faculty Awards in Stem Cell Research

Investigator Initiated Research Projects and Innovative, Developmental or Exploratory Activities (IDEA) in Stem Cell Research

This RFA is intended to stimulate and support basic, applied (mechanistic, technological), translational, pre-clinical and clinical scientific investigations on any aspect of stem cell biology that will lead to a better understanding of the unique properties of stem cells and allow their utilization to treat disease. Research in the area of human embryonic stem cells is encouraged. Revised applications will be accepted.
